Of EASYstrainer™ cell filters offers Greiner Bio-One an innovative and user-friendly solution for the filtration of cell suspensions. For example, the EASYstrainer™ can be used after enzymatic tissue treatment for primary cell isolation. Or for cell preparation prior to flow cytometry. The large cell strainer fits all conical 50 ml tubes and is available with mesh sizes of 40, 70 and 100 μm.
Different sizes
The new EASYstrainer™ Small fits 15 ml tubes as well as smaller tubes and reaction vessels and is available in mesh sizes of 20, 40, 70 and 100 μm.
Ease
The stackability of EASYstrainers with different mesh sizes makes it possible to separate cells that differ in size in one step. In addition, the upper part of the EASYstrainer™ can become Small turned around. This makes it possible to to flush out cells for further use.
EASYstrainer™ makes work aseptically much easier: the cell strainer can be held by the surrounding edge or handle, to avoid accidental contact with the sterile filter material. The transparent blister packaging, from which the cell strainer can be easily and aseptically removed, provides additional safety in this area.
A special feature of EASYstrainer™ is the vent opening that remains between sieve and tube. The gap allows air in the tube to escape quickly during filtration. Liquid accumulation between sieve and tube or even overflowing of the cell strainer is therefore certainly excluded.
With the EASYstrainer™, these effects that you often see with conventional cell strainers are a thing of the past.
