Unfortunately, the E&A trade fair will not take place physically, but we can offer you an in-depth online conference on Thursday 30 September on the theme of Hardware Design. In five sessions of 45 minutes each, our members and exhibitors will share their expertise on this complex and challenging theme. The common thread of the seminar program is the impact that hardware design has on the time to market of an electronic product.
Patrick Winkelaar & Johan Vonk from Betronic will open the theme day at 9:30 with a webinar in which they will argue that software, and not hardware, is the challenge for the time to market. An interesting proposition that they will make in a short interview please explain in part with us.
Programming FPGAs is a profession in itself. Jan Kuper of QBayLogic will tell from 10:30 what challenges to come and see that.
At 11:30 Dirk Stans of Eurocircuits will start his seminar entitled 'Bridge the gap between CAD and CAM and achieve Right First Time for production'. Because in practice there is still a large knowledge gap between designers and production companies, Stans states.
After the break, Peter van Oostrum (Romex) will take the floor at 1:00 PM. He tells about the need for good quality control in order to achieve a solid end product.
The closing lecture at 2:00 PM will be given by Bert van den Berg of 3T. The company developed together with Sirius Medical a medical device for tumor localization.
