Fast and chemical-free measurement of sodium and chloride

How do you quickly and reliably determine the sodium and chloride content of food products and process streams without using chemicals or traditional titrations? During the seminar Fast and chemical-free measurement of sodium and chloride At the WoTS 2026 trade fair, an expert on behalf of Benelux Scientific and NanoNord explained how this is possible with the innovative NanoNord Tveskaeg® analyzers.

These systems utilize Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) technology to measure sodium directly. This not only delivers high accuracy and excellent reproducibility but also reduces analysis time to approximately one minute. Thanks to minimal sample preparation and simple operation, the analyzers are suitable for both laboratories and production environments.

During the WoTS seminar, visitors received an introduction to the technology and a live demonstration of the possibilities in practice.
