Many laboratory professionals are strong in terms of content but find it more difficult to convincingly translate their expertise into customer value, buy-in, or commercial opportunities. Yet this skill is becoming increasingly important, especially when interacting with customers, suppliers, internal clients, project teams, or decision-makers outside the lab.
In this practical workshop, Justin van der Heemst, founder of Just ReDesign and lecturer at Habeo+, and himself trained with a laboratory background, shows how you, as a laboratory professional, can become stronger in consultative communication. Not by selling harder, but by asking better questions, recognizing needs more acutely, and linking technical solutions to what is truly important to the other person.
Participants receive an accessible introduction to commercial skills for (technical) laboratory professionals, with recognizable examples from laboratory and technical environments. The workshop is suitable for laboratory technicians, analysts, technical specialists, and team leaders who want to convey their technical expertise more convincingly and contribute more strongly to customer value, commercial opportunities, and sustainable partnerships.
