The Scannable Future: Innovation in sample management and smart label networks

During this practical workshop, we dive into the world of automated identification. We demonstrate how the latest generation of label printers no longer function as standalone devices, but as intelligent nodes within your IT infrastructure. The synergy between physical carriers and digital intelligence takes center stage here.

Why this combination works:

  • Barcodes are the standard: reliable, cheap, and universal.
  • RFID is the innovation: ideal for bulk scanning and tracking samples in closed freezers or complex flows.
  • Data integration is the glue: it ensures that the code on the tube actually means something in your system.

After this workshop, you will have insight into the possibilities of identification and how to efficiently implement this in the lab. There is room for a maximum of 40 people.
