The Digi ConnectCore® 91/93, based on the NXP® i.MX 91/93 application processor, delivers a secure and integrated system-on-module (SOM) platform. It offers dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connectivity, which ensures robust and reliable communication.

The SOM platform is specifically designed to support applications across diverse sectors such as medical, industrial, energy, and transportation. These include Internet of Things (IoT), automation, human-machine interfaces (HMI), equipment monitoring, audio/voice processing, edge computing, and machine learning, for example in anomaly detection.

Digi ConnectCore 91/93 integrates up to two power-efficient Arm Cortex®-A55 cores and a dedicated NXP power management IC (PMIC), which maximizes energy efficiency. In addition, the ConnectCore 93 model includes a Cortex-M33 core, an AI/ML-capable Arm Ethos U65 NPU, and advanced video and graphics capabilities.

As a result, these SOMs are well-suited for embedded devices that require industrial-grade reliability and long product life cycles of 10 years or more. The Digi SMTplus surface-mount form factor further simplifies integration, while also enhancing design efficiency and reliability.

Finally, Digi ConnectCore 91 is pin-compatible with the ConnectCore 93, which enables easy scalability and flexible design options.
