Aspark Owl, an all-electric supercar from Japan has just clocked in a 0-100 sprint time of 1.92 seconds! The Aspark Owl rides on Hoosier racing tyres and is powered by a pair of 40 kW motors which put out 429 bhp and 763 Nm of torque. There are batteries and a supercapacitor. The supercapacitor converts braking energy into charge, which is used for instant acceleration.

The insane acceleration is backed by power being sent to all four wheels. The motors are small, keeping the weight as low as 850 kg. And the Owl is very low at only 990 mm. Aspark claims the Owl will be capable of a top speed of a little over 278 km/h, which will affect the range of about 149 km.
