    Your partner in chemistry automation
Skalar is a Dutch company, established in 1965 as a producer of analyzers for the laboratory and process industry.

It has since grown into a multinational organization with its own subsidiaries in most European countries, North America & India and with over eighty representatives throughout the world.

Our organization is daily focused on servicing and providing the best application support to existing and potential users. Skalar analyzers are reliably servicing small and large routine laboratories, annually handling sample numbers of a few hundred up to hundreds of thousands.

With over thirty years of experience in automating wet chemistry analysis procedures, the Skalar ISO 9001 certified organization has built up a wealth of knowledge and has generated a vast library of information and techniques which support well proven applications. This knowledge, in the form of application notes, methodology books, technical brochures, etc., is widely made available. In recent years Skalar's own continuing research and development has added many new innovative analyzers to its product range. The new and existing range of Skalar analyzers have proven to be the most reliable and economical choice in today's modern routine laboratory.

SAN++®  - Continuous Flow Analyzer (CFA)

State of the art wet chemistry analyzers
Our segmented flow analyzers offer advanced colorimetric automation of parameters across a wide range of environmental and industrial applications with multiple in-line sample pre-treatment possibilities such as distillation, digestion and dialysis. Up to 16 analytical measurements can be made on a single sample simultaneously. Advanced low-level detection, automatic start-up, shutdown, dilution functions, re-runs, clean-up, and raw data storage make the SAN++® Series range the most sophisticated wet chemistry analyzers available today. Skalar has developed a proven systematic approach to provide quality automation platforms, starting with complete applications engineered on customer samples to provide the best possible configuration, to the customer needs and requirements, training and installation by qualified specialists and complete application and service support.
    Typical Applications are:
Ammonia, Phosphate, Cyanid, Phenol, Nitrat, Nitrit

BluVision ®  - Automated Discrete Analyzer

Advanced discrete analysis for reliable nutrient testing in water
The BLUVISION® Discrete Analyzer offers fully automatic colorimetric analyses for a variety of water quality parameters, including ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, ortho-phosphate, sulfate, chloride, and more. Designed for high precision and low detection limits, it ensures accurate results while efficiently processing large sample volumes.

Equipped with an automatic re-analysis function, the BLUVISION® can seamlessly reprocess samples that are below or above the detection range, ensuring reliable data without manual intervention.

Additionally, the separate waste collection system ensures safe and environmentally friendly disposal of hazardous chemicals.

The Skalar analysis methods comply with ISO 15923-1, CMA/2/I/C.8, EPA, and other international standards, making it a trusted solution for drinking water, wastewater, and environmental monitoring laboratories.

IGNIVIUS - Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and Total Nitrogen (TNb) Analyzer for Liquids

TOC & TNb Analysis without Compromise - Reliable. Intelligent. High-performance.

IGNIVIUS combines high-temperature catalytic combustion with advanced detection technology to
deliver exceptional accuracy and reliability in carbon and nitrogen analysis. The analyzer supports TC, TIC,
TOC, NPOC, POC and DOC, with optional TNb analysis. Carbon is measured using a highly sensitive NDIR
detector, while nitrogen can be added via an optional CLD detector.

A robust direct injection principle simplifies the sample flow path and improves system reliability. This
design provides excellent particle handling while reducing the risk of clogging or carryover.

Parallel processing of NPOC pretreatment and measurement significantly increases sample throughput
    and maximizes laboratory productivity.

Integrated inline dilution eliminates manual sample preparation and enables calibrations from a single
stock solution, simplifying workflows while improving accuracy and consistency.

PRIMACS  - Total Organic Carbon (TOC) and Total Carbon (TNb) Analyzer for Solids

Total Organic Carbon and Protein-Nitrogen analyzer for Solid according to DIN 19539

The PRIMACS™ SNC-100 contains an extra large integrated autosampler with 100 positions covered with a transparent lid. The sampler can analyze large daily sample loads in one batch. The sample rack is removable and re-usable quartz crucibles are used for sample weights up to 3 g of solid material.

Samples are introduced in the analyzer through a unique vertical sample introduction system. Sample ashes remain in the crucible after the analysis and are taken out of the instrument with removal of the crucible. This avoids sample ash build-up in the combustion zone and therefore reduces maintenance.

The determination of TN/Protein is based upon DUMAS methodology and detection with Thermal Conductivity (TCD). The DUMAS method is fast, safe and a good alternative for the old fashioned Kjeldahl. TIC can also be analyzed using automatic acidification and purging.

SP2000 Robotic Analyzer - Turnkey or custom-made automation solutions

Routine analytical testing has never been this easy
The SP2000 Series automation solutions are available for a variety of applications, including:

    • BOD/COD
    • test kit applications
    • pH
    • conductivity (EC)
    • alkalinity and other titrations
    • turbidity
    • true color /apparent color / uv
    • Ion Selective Electrodes (ISE) applications
    • particle size distribution
    • automatic weighing
    • permanganate index

Combinations of analyses or applications are also possible. All applied methods comply with international regulations ISO, EPA, Standard Methods, DIN etc.

The modular design and flexible, user-defined automation allows the automated laboratory robotics to meet your exact requirements resulting in increased productivity and accuracy of results, while reducing the sample turn-around time, costs per sample and eliminating errors and operator/sample interaction. The complete platform is enclosed by protective front and side covers to comply with applicable CE regulations.

SPE-03 - Automated Solid Phase Extraction

Reliable automation for routine solid phase extraction across diverse applications
The SPE-03 is a powerful and efficient automated solid phase extraction system capable of processing up to 8 samples at a time. It can be used for large and small volume water, food, soil, fuel, protein and forensics sample extraction and clean up.

Like all our systems, it utilizes positive pressure to deliver fluids at fixed flow rates and prevent build up in your SPE cartridges. All samples start and finish at the same time. No.1 choice for PFAS, supporting more than 200 PFAS labs wordwide.

Our flow path integration technique gives the SPE-03 a very small footprint and can easily fit in any fume hood. Special features include bottle rinsing, separate waste outlets and nitrogen drying.

It is the top choice for PFAS following EPA Methods 533/537/1633, DoD QSM 5.3 Table B-15, ISO 21675 and various proprietary methods. Other applications include 1-4 Dioxane, pesticides, PCBs, PAHs, mycotoxins and more.
