From 22 to 25 September 2026, the Jaarbeurs Utrecht will once again be the meeting place for professionals in technology and science during the World of Industry, Technology & Science (WoTS). The four-day event brings together professionals, engineers, researchers and technology enthusiasts to explore the latest developments and practical applications across industry, electronics and laboratory technology.

CN Rood will be exhibiting at stand 9B038, where visitors can explore a different approach to test and measurement. Rather than presenting a collection of individual products, CN Rood has created six application-focused worlds, each centred around a specific industry or technology domain.

Each world has its own spotlight solution and an accompanying table featuring complementary technologies from leading test and measurement brands. Together, these demonstrations show how different instruments and technologies can work together to address real-world engineering challenges.

 

Six worlds. One complete measurement perspective.

The six worlds at the CN Rood stand have been designed around the applications and challenges engineers encounter in their daily work:

This setup allows visitors to explore technologies in a familiar application context, rather than viewing instruments in isolation. Whether the challenge involves acquiring data in a research environment, analysing RF signals in the field, testing battery cells or characterising semiconductor devices, each world highlights technologies that can contribute to the complete measurement chain.

 

Academic & Research

Research environments require flexible measurement solutions that can adapt as projects evolve. In the Academic & Research world, National Instruments with mioDAQ takes centre stage.

The spotlight combines a mioDAQ with an Arduino unit and a PXI unit, illustrating different approaches to data acquisition and measurement within research and educational environments.

The accompanying table features solutions from Tektronix, VTI/Ametek, Pico Technology, Microsanj and Gantner Instruments. Together, these technologies cover a broad range of measurement and acquisition requirements.

The demonstration provides an opportunity to see how accessible measurement solutions and more advanced modular systems can form part of the same measurement ecosystem.

 

Aerospace, Defence & Government

For aerospace, defence and government applications, measurement often needs to be reliable in challenging environments and, in many cases, outside the laboratory.

The Aerospace, Defence & Government world puts Narda SignalShark and FieldMan in the spotlight. These solutions demonstrate the importance of mobile and flexible signal monitoring and analysis when engineers need insight into RF environments.

The accompanying table features Keysight FieldFox and a handheld analyser, together with Data Physics technology for vibration and signal force testing.

From RF signal analysis to mechanical testing, this world brings together technologies relevant to applications where performance, reliability and accurate measurements are critical.

 

Automotive & Transportation

The transition towards electric mobility is creating new challenges for engineers, particularly around battery development and testing.

At the centre of the Automotive & Transportation world is the EA Battery Cell Tester. The demonstration focuses on battery cell testing and the measurements required to evaluate and develop modern energy storage systems.

Complementary solutions from Hioki, including the PW6001 and current clamps, are presented alongside technologies from Prodigy and Gantner Instruments.

Together, these solutions illustrate how different measurement technologies can contribute to the development, testing and validation of electrical and electronic systems used in modern transportation.

 

Electronic Design & Production

From the first prototype to production, electronic engineers need accurate and reliable measurement data to validate designs and identify problems.

The Electronic Design & Production world features the Tektronix DPO7 as its spotlight solution. The demonstration focuses on advanced oscilloscope measurements and the analysis of complex electronic signals.

The accompanying table expands this view with technologies from Keithley, Prodigy, Pendulum and Haefely. Visitors can explore solutions for precision measurement and data acquisition, protocol analysis, frequency analysis and testing.

The result is a broad view of the measurement technologies that support engineers throughout the electronics development and production process.

 

Energy, Power Distribution & Quality

As energy systems become increasingly complex, understanding power behaviour and power quality is becoming more important than ever.

The Energy, Power Distribution & Quality world brings together three spotlight solutions:

Together, these solutions represent different aspects of power supply, power quality measurement and transient recording.

The accompanying table features additional solutions from Kikusui, Pico Technology and Chroma, giving visitors a broader perspective on technologies for power testing, measurement and analysis.

This world is particularly relevant for engineers working on power electronics, energy infrastructure, electrical systems and applications where reliable power quality is essential.

 

Semiconductor

Semiconductor development and manufacturing demand extremely precise measurement and characterisation. As devices become increasingly complex, engineers need reliable information about both signals and devices.

In the Semiconductor world, Keysight’s N9324C Signal Analyzer takes the spotlight. The demonstration focuses on signal analysis within demanding RF and semiconductor test environments.

The accompanying table features a Keithley setup with MPS5000, 2450 and a power supply configuration, together with solutions from MPI.

The combination provides visitors with an insight into different stages of semiconductor testing and characterisation, from electrical measurement and sourcing to device-level testing.
