By and for the technology industry

The FHI Academy is the training provider for the technology sector. Not a standard training offering, but an academy built together with the sector that continues to evolve with developments in the field.

Technology is evolving rapidly. Labor market shortages, changing customer demands, and pressure for innovation call for people who are strong in their field and flexible enough to grow with it. The FHI Academy addresses this structurally, through the four FHI branches: Industrial Automation, Industrial Electronics, Building Automation, and Laboratory Technology.

Developed with the industry, for the industry

The FHI Academy is the training provider for the technology sector. Not a standard training offering, but an academy built together with the sector that continues to evolve with developments in the field.

Technology is evolving rapidly. Labor market shortages, changing customer demands, and pressure for innovation call for people who are strong in their field and flexible enough to grow with it. The FHI Academy addresses this structurally, through the four FHI branches: Industrial Automation, Industrial Electronics, Building Automation, and Laboratory Technology.

All training courses, learning pathways, and development programs have been developed in collaboration with affiliated companies, industry experts, and professionals from the four FHI sectors. In this way, the offerings align with concrete needs, not with what an external training provider assumes is necessary.

In doing so, we work on themes that matter to the sector: leadership and collaboration, commerce and customer focus, project-based working, AI, data and digitalization, safety, attitude and behavior, and industry-specific issues from the FHI segments.

What we develop

Professional knowledge Professional expertise is more than just technique. It is a complete understanding of the profession: how one's own role fits within technology, the supply chain, the market, the customer, and regulations. It is precisely this comprehensive knowledge that makes someone a strong employee, one who thinks proactively, adapts, and fathoms the 'why' behind the work.

Skills Applying that knowledge in daily work: mastering a work process, conducting a conversation with a client or colleague, analyzing, substantiating, and presenting. Skills that are immediately applicable in any industry.

Attitude & behavior Showing it in practice: collaborating, taking ownership, giving space to others, and acting professionally towards clients and colleagues. The difference between knowing and being able.

What we don't do

Technical expertise We do not provide training in the technical aspects themselves: operating, programming, installing, or maintaining equipment and systems. We leave that to specialized vocational trainers, or companies handle it themselves.

What you can expect

  • Learning among peers
  • Trainers and experts from the field
  • Offer directly aligned with the industry
  • Personalized, tailored training advice
