Projects

  • The basics of project-based working in the technology sector
  • Maintaining control over scope, scope changes, and variations and additional work
  • Managing projects based on time, money, quality, and risk

Technical professionals in the technology sector are increasingly working on projects. From system integration and installation to complex engineering processes, project-based work requires different skills than hands-on work. Those who understand how a project runs, how to manage scope, and how to steer towards results make a better contribution and prevent costly mistakes.

The Projects learning track of the FHI Academy guides technical professionals step by step towards controlled project management. From an initial introduction to project phases and roles, through recognizing and documenting scope changes, to fully managing planning, budget, and risk.

The learning pathway consists of three training courses:

All learning tracks
Introduction to project-based working
For everyone involved in projects in the technology sector who wants to understand the basics.
Handling scope changes
For project engineers and work planners in the technology sector who want to maintain control over scope.
Project control: time, money, quality and risk
For project engineers and project managers in the technology sector who fully master a project
