The Assembly Checker - a free to use automated online tool.
The SMD line places and solders electronic components to the PCB. But before this happens there many process steps that must be completed. For example, the components must be sourced and prepared for the placement machine, the solder paste stencil must be made, and paste applied to the PCB etc…
It is such a shame when something doesn’t fit. Many typical issues, especially in prototype production where everyday counts can be avoided.
Using the Eurocircuits Assembly Checker allows the designer to compare the PCB layout with the provided CPL and BOM data.
The Assembly Checker is an automated tool that recognises issues such as:
- Incorrect component rotation
- Component misalignment
- Footprint issues
- etc…
The Assembly Checker provides a clear list of analysis results as text defining the type of issues found and the number of occurrences which are also displayed graphically.
