For whom

This training has been developed for engineers, project managers, and specialists in the technology sector who want to think commercially and connect technology to customer value.

Program

  • Day 1: Introduction to commerce and your role. What is commerce and why is it relevant for technical professionals? Commercial processes and roles within a technology company. How does your work influence the commercial result?
  • Day 2: Commercial skills in practice. Essential skills: communication, customer focus, and strategic thinking. Structure of an effective client conversation. Recognizing and naming opportunities.
  • Day 3: Negotiation and client relationships. Basic principles of negotiation in a technical context. Dealing with difficult situations and objections. Your commercial role in projects.

Result

After this training, you will think commercially, know how to translate technology into value for the customer, recognize opportunities for your organization, and be able to communicate more effectively in commercial situations.
