Work Preparation 2 (WeVo 2)

Complex projects require more than just good basic preparation. You deal with multiple contract types, interfaces between parties, financial risks, and changes that impact planning and costs. In this course, you will learn how to keep a grip on that complexity: overseeing interfaces, identifying risks in a timely manner, and managing all involved parties.

The course aligns with WeVo 1 and has been developed for experienced work planners in the technology sector who want to deepen their knowledge.

For whom

This training program has been developed for experienced work planners in the technology sector who already prepare projects independently and wish to further develop their skills in managing complex projects, interfaces, and financial control.

Program

Module 1: Contract awareness and risks (2 days). Working with various contract forms. Identifying risks and opportunities arising from the contract. Recognizing and processing additional and reduced work. Outsourcing and subcontract management.

Module 2: Cost control (1 day). Determine completion rate. Record and process deviations. Calculate changes. Determine profit and loss at project level.

Module 3: Planning and scheduling (1 day). Determining and monitoring the critical path. Calculating the impact of changes on the schedule. Managing interfaces and dependencies.

Conclusion: Customer focus, managing expectations, and working in a solution-oriented manner. Final presentation based on a practical case study.

Result

After this training, you will prepare complex projects and manage the interfaces. You will work effectively with various contract forms, identify risks in a timely manner, and adjust costs and planning.
