Leading a project is more than planning and monitoring. You manage on multiple fronts simultaneously: planning, budget, quality, progress, and risk. And you communicate clearly with both your team and the client. In this three-day training, you will learn how to manage projects in a controlled manner, make adjustments where necessary, and report transparently on the status.

Focused on the reality of projects in the technology sector, with a real-world case study as the common thread.

For whom

This training has been developed for project engineers and project leaders in the technology sector who are responsible for the execution and control of projects and who want to strengthen their grip on planning, budget, and risk.

Program

  • Day 1: Project setup and planning. Drafting the project assignment and action plan. Project phases and milestones. Planning methods and the critical path. Roles and collaboration within the project team.
  • Day 2: Budget, quality, and risk. Cost estimation and budget monitoring. Quality assurance in projects. Identifying, assessing, and managing risks. Dealing with deviations and changes.
  • Day 3: Progress and communication. Monitoring progress and making adjustments. Reporting to the client and the organization. Scope management and variations. Project closure and evaluation. Presentation of your own case study.

Result

After this training, you will manage projects in a controlled manner regarding time, budget, and quality. You will monitor the scope, proactively manage risks, and communicate clearly about progress and results to all involved parties.
